When I first saw the movie I was pretty confused I never read the book but that doesn’t take away that it’s a literal copy of willy wonka/charlie and the chocolate factory the only difference is that there is a library instead of a chocolate factory surprised no one addressed this. As for the movie it’s not horrible but it’s hard to judge it when it’s pretty much exactly like silly wonka.
