I saw this movie twice and cried on both occasions. I was impressed how Rami Malek was able beautifully to capture such rare talent, and Brian singer did a marvelous job at telling the story. The timeline and events are close to accurate, only a true fan would spot out a couple of tweaked fibs that tie the story together. I recommend this movie for young and old fans, it will touch your heart, your soul and your vocal cords. I wish they were able to show the close-ups on how he dealt with AIDS, the support he got from Jim, his band and his family; however, the closing scene was a stupendous way to idolize Freddie.
