Extremely confusing. Based on the title, I expected a humorous, half-hearted attempt at a book of maps by an indifferent cartographer. When I opened the book, I grew even more excited- without visual maps, I thought the writer intended to actually describe the terrain of their subject matter in detail, down to the last slime-covered toadstool! But as I read, it was clearly about something else entirely; the author never intended to make good on the title's promise. Ayn Rand-McNally truly came from humble beginnings. 1 star.
