This movie is a f*#&ing gift. I have been going to see Star Wars in the theater for about 40 years now....basically my whole life and thought this movie wrapped things up beautifully. I was lost in it immediately. The fact that all these whiner try-hards can't wrap their myopic minds around the fact that Star Wars is a very cyclical story and that this about the Jedi rising and failing and always tempted by the dark side is a testament to their never fully understanding of the movie in the first place. There are events that happen that call back to the previous movies because they have to, because when you make 9 of something...that is how it is. Yoda, Obi, Luke...all rose and fell and went into isolation - yet people that can't process this will just think the writers were lazy and just copied things instead of reinforcing the story arc. The constant bombardment of information and new content in people's lives has rendered them to be completely void of patience and turned them into being hypercritical without being able to lose themselves in what made Star Wars great in the first place..incredible action, cheesy but heartfelt dialogue, and many different beautiful worlds and characters. Trust your feelings, check-out for a couple of hours and let yourself really experience this movie.
