This is a small gem of a movie. It is a quiet study of a Jewish hit man in Brooklyn, whose last hits cause him to encounter a woman he will grow to love. The expected action is there, along with expected twists and turns, but the character played by Ron Pearlman, Asher, is beautifully fleshed out. I normally delete my recordings, but I am saving this beauty. Four stars.
