So first of all, it is interesting and dissappointing to read all these comments of people getting offended due to politics, different races, and sexual orientations. It is 2019, and all actors don't need to be white or straight.
So, to the actual review, the story had potential. I never saw the original so I am only basing my review on the reboot. Every episode is sloppily crammed with all this information and it leaves no room for any growth. Too many cliches of "I love you but I don't trust you, but I do trust you." Also, not a fan of Liz. Her overall character comes off as much younger and whinier than the age of the character. In no way does she come off as a scientist. The actress isn5nad, but the writing leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, this show is something you watch when there is nothing else on.
