The game is painful and the antithesis of fan-service and the tonal opposite of the first, being much darker, but it's impactful and certainly life-changing as I witness the consequences of Ellie's mistakes so I don't make those mistakes myself. And don't try to force yourself to believe the game is darker than it is and forgo the glimmer of hope and positivity imbued within the ending.
