Dick Cheney and that era in history are both difficult to like and this movie does nothing to change that. If anything it affirmed what most people gleaned from the nightly news. I did not go for affirmation of my views, I'd hoped to learn something different which I didn't. Not the film's fault, perhaps there simply isn't more to know. I thought I'd heard the movie is humorous, it's not. If anything, like Cheney himself, it's quite dry. There were some cinematic twerks tossed into the movie that made no sense at all, one that makes you think the movie is over only to disappoint you that it's not. I had a nice movie / dinner date going to see this. The dinner was great!
