It's a good movie... I watched it in 3D. 3D effect is really good. It's good to know our history . History tells us that there was no war on the religion bases. It was the war of resourses. Because senapati of Aurangzeb in this movie was a rajput udaybhan rathore and in the force of Shivaji there were Muslim warriors as well.. so it was never a fight between Hindu and Muslims or any other religion.. the wars were just for the resources or sometime against the bad rule or norms of the govt... But I think we should more focus on the present day social issues as history cannot be edited once made so I watched CHAPAAK as well... I was so amazed to see the movie... It really touched me from the heart.. it's a masterpiece.. great direction by Meghna Gulzar... Chapaak is a must watch movie and friends don't get astray, there is no change in the name or religion of the boy who thrown the acid on the girl... If you really respect and love your mother, sister , wife or gf... Then you should watch this movie CHAPAAK

IMDb rating is poor because bhakts with their zero sense and without watching the movie has rated 1 * to this movie and I can completely understand the mental status of these donkeys as they were not born donkey but they made to behave like this by a senseless and fundamentalist govt... So let's come to the real reviews of the movie... Movie is based on the real and very sensitive issue of the present society. All the actors really acted superbly. No lack of emotions. Make u feel touched throughout the movie. No change in the religion of the boy who thrown the acid in real. This movie will squeeze you from the heart and generate a sense of awareness towards the sensitive issue of the society. Makeup was superb. Hits the bull eye that is how critical is this issue and how it really affect the whole life of a girl who survived from acid attack. A big applause to Deepika and all the team members of this movie. Direction by Meghna Gulzar is perfect. Songs are written and composed very beautifuly. Must watch movie and specially all young boys and girls should go and watch.. if you really love your sister and mother or any girl in your life.. if you have respect for girls and really want a progressive society then this movie is a must watch movie...
