If someone asked me why fewer people are cinema goers I would cite this film as a reason. Chaotic, no story unsympathetic characters, in other words utter drivel with loud bangs.
The emperors new clothes comes to mind as a metaphor

Had to stop watching I found Blakeโs character annoying, always apologising all over the place, no substance, shame wanted to like it

Having all but given up on enjoying a newly released film, this was a nice surprise. The acting was superb, the story had the momentum to keep up interest and of course the songs are great

Easy going fun, very enjoyable, impressed to see Glenys Barber and Sarah Alexander alongside Mr Mack, who didnโt disappoint, best play Iโve seen in a long while. Lovely theatre and my 6ft 5 inch son was not too squeezed in. Sat in the stalls.

Kept me hooked from the beginning, emotional rollercoaster but fabulous scenery and tragic love story just brilliant

Got to agree with the other reviews. I love dramas but this was just a mess with dramatic music.

Loving it, the costumes, scenery and characters all good. Christine Baranski stands out for me. The storyline is keeping me hooked.

Stella cast, Christian Bale never ceases to amaze me with the quality of acting and how his presence holds your attention in every scene, fabulous twist too.
Great find amongst a lot of mediocrity.
