I hadn't read the movie synopsis so I truly thought I had acquiesced to watching a "Hallmark"-style movie and was prepared to be pablumed. I'm glad I didn't read the synopsis because if I had, then I wouldn't have been surprised by the movie. The opening scene did inform me that I was going to watch something unexpected and the movie continued to... delight?... me. I gained an appreciation for Katie Holmes which I previously didn't have. If you can forget what you know about the movie you can expect to be entertained.
