5/5 Stars A Brilliant Start to a Unique Fantasy Series Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson is one of the best fantasy books I’ve ever read. The magic system, called Allomancy, is creative and makes every fight exciting and smart. The world is dark and different, with ash falling from the sky and powerful mists, which makes the setting feel real and unique. The characters are another strong point. Vin’s journey from a scared girl on the streets to a powerful Mistborn is inspiring, and Kelsier brings charm, mystery, and energy to the story. The plot is full of twists and secrets that kept me hooked the entire time. Everything builds up to an epic and satisfying ending that totally changes what you thought you knew. This book has action, emotion, and tons of surprises. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves fantasy.
