Taylor Chappell

I was a fan of League for many years since 2011, and even played when I started to hate it halfway through. I now hate League (quit last year for good) and believe this show to be a horrible representation of the game. Over the years, League has proved it has many compelling stories and amazing artists/animators. Things too good to be showing this garbage where every single person is a gap-toothed crybaby. Lore has been altered in a tragic way to fit some depressing narrative. The symbolism is poorly displayed and comes off much too literal. I honestly can't say enough bad things about this series. I'm giving 2* out of pity and nostalgia.

Going into it completely blind, I found the show to be OK at best. Who doesn't live super powers and action, right? But the dialogue is awful. Practically nobody explains anything and would rather waste their breath talking about how they either can't or will eventually explain things. The cast and story has an opportunity that I believe they're squandering. It looks painfully obvious that at least several 5* reviews are written by AI as well. Which can only mean either someone really wants to act like a big movie critic and are padding their reviews or "someone" bought a bunch of robot reviews to pad the score.
