Red Donut

Don’t go in with expectations of an action-packed horror flick with tons of kills. It tells a small, contained story about a father trying to protect his family. Only a few kills, but the psychological element regarding the father’s inner turmoil is horrifying enough for me. You have to pay attention, since the movie is very attached to the “show don’t tell” style of filmmaking. Film did exactly what it set out to do, and I would imagine people giving these one star reviews didn’t pay much attention to what the film was trying to do.
