A Buzz lightyear movie….no! A good movie yes. As a Buzz movie this movie would get one star it does not portray his character correctly. Did they not go off of the commercial for the actual toy in the movie…? They made him almost like a failure and a quitter. Which in toy story he does get down at one point but he’s not a quitter. He is also portrayed as a super hero who flies, has a laser and actually talked with star command (tried to make contact). That was completely lost in the Buzz movie. The Buzz movie portrayed him as an ordinary space ranger who kept failing and was basically alone in life except one good friend. He was never some big hero just a bunch of self reflection. And Zurg don’t get me started on Zurg lol so disappointed! This was not the movie that made Andy and all the other kids from toy story want the great Buzz Lightyear! This would be the movie everyone wanted the cool gadget cat, Sox! It also makes kids question why back than they never made girl space rangers toys. With all that said I gave this move two stars because it is a good movie overall, but it should not have the buzz light year title or character in it!
