Julia Garner made a spectacular performance, she is a one of a kind actor for sure. But the thing is about this show, it creates an atmosphere very dramatic and false about the “grandiosity” of Anna Delvey. Especially with the journalist Vivian, whom by the way was so obsessed about her work that she was in labour and on a phone call trying to persuade one testimony for her article, that scene was so pathetic, it demonstrates the reality of American culture about workaholic environment and romanticise an obscure attachment for recognition at work even if you are about to delivery your own child, the fact that she went to another country only to persue more details for a story already release leaving behind a baby and her husband it doesn’t make any sense. I don’t get why this show bother to put the journalist as a married and pregnant woman instead of a honest workaholic person. Anyway, Anna Delvey from this show is far better than the real life one, she dresses as a model, stunning and elegant. Again, Julia garner made worth to watch. But is exaggerated and overdramatised show.
