Awkward and poorly written dialogues, uncomfortable songs…. And horrifyingly, they did not care to hire cultural advisors at all. Mexicans don’t talk like that at all. Women don’t talk like that either. When the female characters speak, trashy old white male dialogue comes out. It makes a mockery out of very painful issues like cartel victims and gender identity. It makes for good memes tho. Skip this one and just watch johanne sacrebleu lol.
