Around the World in Eighty Days was my first novel in 4th grade. I am glad it was that because first impression is what matters the most;) It was recommended and lend by a friend; I was kind of mesmerized by reading something for which I didn't have to give an exam for, not memorize every key moment but just have a good light read just for fun. There was a new system introduced to have a small backcupboard library in our classrooms where it was pilled up with our own novels and after completing Around the World in Eighty Days, I WAS HOOKED.

It's been around 9 years since I read this book and it still stays and pops up in my mind sometimes because of its lovely characters and adventurous story. The book can be perfect for children who are beginners and can help to develop interest in novels. The book has 21 parts, each having neither many nor less pages for a fine weekend book. Quick tip: Read all the parts in order to have a more refine read:)
