So many "in your face" directorial fluffs. 1st being that a crew of teenagers (with all that tech) were the only ones to spot the passing/lost vessel from earlier times...then, on descending into the orbit of a planet with rings (like Saturn), the rings span unnaturally fast, much faster than the approaching craft...THEN, all the action which was "fair" involved kids who wouldn't have had the training to deal with a situation like this let alone "sneak off" from the mother ship without notice....THEEN, some weird Alien, reminiscent of Alien 4, but a dude with Shap elbows at 12 feet tall comes in to play that made no sense...and to top it all off, the tense end scene is a craft travelling faster than the earlier mentioned orbiting rings and crashing into them.
Had all the elements and effects for a good horror movie but just lashings of woke and conformity led to a huge disappointment.
