Have watched / recorded Countdown for many years . Nick Hewer as a presenter was professional , a complete gentleman and never made the show '' all about him ''. Now we have Ann Robinson -- whose voice sounds like nails scraping down glass -- it is so grating . There are times when it is difficult to understand her pronunciation , possibly because she cannot move her mouth properly. After watching the show for a week not sure I can stand another week of her. Come on Channel 4 admit you've made a mistake , please do not ruin the show any further , surely there is another female presenter out there more amenable than Ann Robinson.
