I had heard the movie was awful. However, I still decided to watch it, and I am glad that I did. Was it as good as the first movie? No. Did it deserve the hate that people have been saying about the film? No. Lady Gaga was the perfect person to pick to perform alongside Joaquin Phoenix. I thought the acting was outstanding. Once again, Joaquin delivered an Oscar worthy performance. The way the music plays into the scenes was done in a smart way. I have nothing bad to say about the movie. The only reason I gave it four stars is, because I was not a fan of how the movie ended. Other than that, I liked the movie a lot.
