It felt like the author herself was turned on by how many gory descriptions she could put into one book. Though the story was interesting and suspenseful, it was repetitive to a fault, and I believe it would have been a much better book had it been a third or even half its length. I thought it would never end and found myself skipping a lot the last half just to get through with it,
