This movie should be shown in film schools as an example on how a good actress and some high budget artsy shots don't make a good movie, it makes for a waste of time if it doesn't have a real or well portrayed story or plot. Peak pretentiousness and zero actual plot, story, substance or anything. It's a whole bunch of nothing and it wishes its audience fills in the blanks for it.

This show has so much whiplash and barely any moments that feel good that LAST. Even over 2 minutes. Every episode, every 2 seconds there is such a stupid , infuriating problem that comes up, that can easily be communicated away or where Clark can actually find a spine but he just doesn't. And its not one of those moments where you can understand he's new to his powers, it just ends up being a moment where he, or some other character, just comes off as stupid or immature. Every 2 minutes there's a misunderstanding between him and Lois, and there's not a moment of peace in the show. I know it's a superhero movie, it isn't supposed to be "calm" but I mean there isn't a moment of the plot going smoothly without things hitting the roof every 5 minutes. It's just chaos and the watching experience is super frustrating. Only S1, Ep1-3 were good. The idea was amazing. To have this soft concept for Superman could 100% work, IF the pacing and writing didn't suck, change immensely in S2, and if they didn't turn it into a show for young adults/adults when it was clearly for slightly younger audiences. Nothing wrong with that, but stick to it then.

The 3rd act was so clearly rushed. The world building was incredible and then the 3rd act reduced the entire plot to something super miniscule. The woman who raised Rumi just disappears out of the plot. Rumi's actual arc would have been her coming to realize she can recreate the honmoon but they spent NO time showing us that, she just shows up after a breakdown w no plan, hope or promise that things will work out and she just starts singing. Somehow magically motivated. Which we were shown nothing of her coming to terms w after the biggest betrayal and rejection she's ever faced. She chose to turn dark and literally springs up in the next scene (last act) saying "Nah I'm gonna remake it without a proper plan yay!". Her saying she's turning to the dark side just becomes completely redundant and just comes off as a tantrum then. They really fumbled in the last act. There was zero resolution, we have no idea what happens to the underworld exactly. No proper coming to terms w Rumi's duality other than one song that defeats the fire(?) We don't get any real context about the underworld so it makes its defeat super vague; how can you cut the fire with a sword? You just can apparently. It's like they're fighting an enemy only they know as much about and the audience just accepts it. Jiu's history? Super vaguely brushed upon but made a big deal for his arc. No closure. All in all, perfect set up, zero resolution.

Um I wonder how one talks about trash properly coz i wanna talk trash about this trash but it does it itself. So ig just gonna say- don't hurt your time and soul watching this shit. It tries to hide its shallowness under the garb of "deep psychology movie" but it's just aimless ego fuel for abel. Abel's acting also sucks btw bro needs to stick to music. Its for naive fans who think they are smart and need to use their brain to understand how complex, smart and deep it is but here's a word of advice- a good film doesn't leave so much on you or your grace to make it good.

The first one was a super fun watch but the second had no genuine motivation even though they tried to force one. It was just a lot of screaming and you as an audience member just feeling like you're third wheeling all the characters panicking 24*7. It felt like I'd have a seizure in the first act itself. So much screaming and treating Act 1 like the climax was a very poor choice. It already drains you 1/3rd of your way into the movie. The first movie had them take a lot of genuine breathable moments and pacing, but the 2nd one was just a loud mess. Disappointing addition. The writing in the first one was also super well paced and motivated, the second just felt like it got lost in all that it wanted to do. Meh.

Super fun and exciting watch and concept! Does what it's supposed to do as a movie of its genre and well paced and written. There wasn't a moment I was bored.

Cinderella 3 is a masterclass on how to grow, enhance, improve and build on characters and story, and also a perfect example of how to actually do a sequel (or threequel ig?)

This movie fkn sucks I'm sorry. More than most flaws, this movie is simply not "Barbie." Putting aside the deep absence and lack of individualism (which can exist even w friends/family/other characters), this movie was the beginning of them making her a white Kardashian w her sisters as completely useless additions and being the face of "rich young kids" which takes away from Barbies magical ability of being fantastical while still being relatable. Now it's just capitalistically aspirational, deeply out of touch, trash characters, horrendous dialogues, sub-par music, and overall boring everything. And for 2011, the animation is quite disappointing.

It's kinda mid. Just loadsss of fan service which clearly sold itself well to the audience but if you take away the full blown fan service dump, it's an average movie and very lazily and heavily reliant on the bait for the audience.
