I thought I was watching a mystery but it turned into political propaganda about halfway through. You’ll know what I mean when characters launch into lengthy monologues that are unnecessary to the plot. Reminds me Ayn Rand’s decision to have a character do a 200 page pro-capitalism speech in the middle of a story. That it made it feel, contrived, superficial and silly from that point on.
