I have been a hard core fan of the original version for almost 20 years now and my hopes were not high for the remake. I was so very happy to be proven wrong! Bloober team and Konami honoured the original game and did not skip any important parts, plus they added so much more. It is an amazing game and amazing story of psychological horror. Like the original game, it plays on moods, sounds and atmosphere. The attention to detail is amazing. I have understood the original game took some inspiration from David Lynch's work and movies like Jacob's ladder, so if those are your thing you might like this too. I recommend to anyone who likes their works of fiction a little complex, and who like to think and look at things a bit deeper than the surface. Word of advice though, the story does revolve around some heavy and mature themes.
