I saw this excellent film when it first hit the cinemas in 1970 & have watched and enjoyed it several times since.
I think it is one of Michael Caine’s best performances backed up by a fine cast & a gorgeous musical score by John Barry.
Given today’s hellish conflicts in Ukraine and especially Gaza, it serves as a particularly prescient movie.
Definitely worth watching
