Rommel John Miller

Objectively a very good film about rivalry and seduction, where one man tries to destroy his rival in business through his wife played by a young Carol Baker. who plays a simple young woman, uneducated who is swept off her feet by a younger man whose business had been destroyed by fire. And juxtaposed with a potentially violent tempament, Karl Malden, whose rival a saucy Sicilian immigrant play by Eli Wallach whose business was burnt to the ground successfully seduces Malden's young wife. This is an enjoyable film to watch as it explodes with the tension of rivalry and sex.
