Overall the movie disappointed me, I was expecting so much more from this movie and thought it would have been true to the video game. I personally think the casting was horrendous- they could have done so much better casting and finding people that actually resembled the video game characters and not trending actors. Don’t get me started on Sullivan- they did not capture the way his character was in the video game at all- his character wasn’t so snarky or immature and they made him look super greedy and selfish in the movie. Nate was never so puny and gullible. The amount of characters that weren't even part of the plot is what really upset me and the fact that there was random characters that we’re added that had nothing do add to the movie. There were so many fallacies in the movie that didn’t make sense and loopholes. The whole plot was changed and major parts of the video game weren’t even in the movie that they could have included. Just to list some: the jail scene with sam and nate, the mummy tomb, the ACTUAL auction scene with Nadeen and Rafe, ect. ect. The main part of the video game was the bond of the two brothers and their adventure (+sully+elena) not the adventures of Nate and Sully. In conclusion, WE WERE ROBBED.
