While the show is very aesthetically pleasing to watch, it misses the mark in substance. I love a number of chef cooking shows including Lidia Bastianich, Pati Jinich and Ming Tsai. I also love lifestyle shows like Martha Stewart, Jay Schwanke's Life in Bloom and Garden Shows like Growing a Greener World. After watching these shows I am always inspired by my newly acquired knowledge & skills to attempt new artistic, culinary and garden endeavors in my own life.
This show needs to post recipes and show cooking techniques. It needs to give advice on flower selection, vase selection and bouquet construction techniques.
My uncle has bee hives and would get a kick out of the bee segment, as it doesn't even come close to real honey collecting and hiving methods. Many of us raise hens, but there is a lot more to it than collecting eggs.
In summary, if watching a pretty lady in very nice clothes in a very upscale kitchen & garden talk about her fabulous lifestyle, you might really like this show. If you are hoping to learn something useful about culinary, creative and farming arts, this show will surely disappoint.
