I don’t know about you but to me the storyline lends itself to the success of the franchise. It seemed natural for D to follow on the footsteps of his predecessor the dad and the dad’s friend who is now his mentor. But he had a choice of love and respect or sweet/bitter revenge. This kid was repressed from the beginning and has to come to grips of the reality. We all need the support we can get to at least take that initial step to move forward. Contrasted by the new Drago’s story D’s was powerful enough to overcome his repression and inner turmoil. These emotions came through the projections on the screen. So learn from this experience that we all need love one way or another without it we cannot survive! Appreciate what you do have!
