Grief work is not easy. It is complicated. And someone who suffers from depression can be double burdened by the work of grieving of trying to move foreard. This movie may seem inappropriate to some...the humor misplaced. But there is a lot of subtle messaging...the nesting birds, the vegetable garden, the almost empty rooms, various patrons of the "vet" having to deal with loss ...I think if you have experienced loss you get this film. Thank you!

I found this series albeit it violent, surprisingly fun to watch, an Australian "Fargo". I found all the characters to be very believable. So often in these mystery series, you find yourself able to predict what is going to happen because the characters are so predictable. So many times in this series, I found myself saying," wow...did not see that coming." Cinematography was amazing. Short swipes of comedy were well placed to enhance the element of absurdity. The marvelous actors were so skilled. Kudos to the writers. I enjoyed season one very much. Definitely worth watching.
