The twist just about saves the novel for me, when that was revealed and some of the pieces slotted into place, the book made a bit more sense and I must admit that the author is very clever in how she has written it. The sex scenes were ranging on the ridiculous for me, and some of the vocabulary used just made me cringe. All in all I'm quite shocked by all the 5 star glowing reviews. I read it as it was this months book club read but I wouldn't reçcomend it personally and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it.
