Suriya’s View: The Good: 1. The two songs though not relevant to the story has been shot so well. Typical Shankar style with huge crowd and post foreign locations. 2. The core idea of how to eradicate corruption. 3. Heart warming to see Vivek and Manobala though not much to do. 4. The climax stand though lengthy had been shot well. 5. The usage of social media and the way videos were shot. 6. Jagan, Siddharth and Samudhrakani are quite convincing. The Bad: 1. The idea of bringing back Indian Thatha is good. But his contribution to solve the problem is not working here. 2. Anirudh background score is being trolled. Not sure if we really remember ARR BGM in part1. Considering the current contribution of BGM to a movie and Anirudh’s recent works, this is a miss. 3. Too many characters and most of them are puppets. 4. The screen time is over 3 hrs and screenplay is too slow. You feel the length in first half itself. 5. The Varma portions and revenges are not working here as in part1 primarily because, there Indian Thatha’s family was affected and hence we got connected. 6. The prosthetic make ups are of no relevance in the script. 7. Kamalhasan. Remember he won National award for part 1. Nothing of that sort here. His age shows clearly in most scenes. The Ugly: INDIAN 3. Not sure what Shankar had in mind. Final Verdict: Typical Shankar template minus his brains. Rating - 1.5/5

What works in favor of Debutant Kaiser Anand’s *ANAL MELE PANITULI* is the well written script, clean narrative & icing on the cake Andrea’s performance. Must watch movie streaming in SonyLiv 🎖️ 🎖️ 🎖️ 🎖️

*GARGI* - _Making movies on true events is challenging and risky but Director Gowtham does it with ease. Thanks to the perfect star cast, subtle yet powerful performances, and simple script with no deviations from main plot. Sai Pallavi is perfect as Gargi and she has just lived the character and so are the rest actors. Govind Vasantha’s BGM elevates the mood of the film. A movie which celebrates womanhood is a must watch for every man. Thought provoking movie yet not preaching. Kudos to entire team_👏 🎖 🎖 🎖 🎖 🎖

👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥 *IRAVIN NIZHAL (Shadow of the Night)* We have heard filmmakers saying “we have made this film with lot of efforts” but Parthiban literally proves it and kudos to him for that. This cannot be achieved with one man’s vision and what works in his favor is the team who gave excellent support be it artists, art director, camera man, composer or even the spot boys. It was a good idea to put the making video before the movie begins to capture audience feelings as it proceeds and RP succeeds 100%. Rahman’s songs and BGM takes the movie to next level. All good said, what disappointed me is the flat writing and missing of a proper screenplay. I was not able to immense to the script and characters unlike his other directional ventures. A regular story with which audience can connect easily would have been an added advantage. I would still conclude as a good film as filmmakers like RP who has good intentions and wants to make honest films has to be welcomed with both hands. ( One hand full of love and other money). Else we will end up watching only run of the mill masala movies which keeps releasing every other week.👍👏

*SAANI KAYIDHAM REVIEW* PROS: 1. Keerthi Suresh. She brings out a terrific performance in her role as Ponni. 2. Selvaragavan. He does justify the character with his subtle acting. Gr8 choice. 3. Yamini’s Cinematography. The lightning and shots are brilliant. 4. Sam CS BGM. He using unusual instruments followed by silence shows his creativity. CONS: 1. The writing is very generic. There aren’t twists in the script to keep you glued. 2. The antagonists are many and none of them stand apart. 3. Difficult to sit though for more than 2 hrs considering this genre. As mentioned in the titles, violence is way to high yet justified. For those who hates these genre, simply stay out of it. The rest can watch once for the PROS mentioned above. 2.75/5

Pritviraj ~ Aditi Balan starter *COLD CASE* is an investigation thrriller with a novel idea not witnessed before.The plot travels parallely in 2 different paths & the mixing of both these keeps you engaged most of the time. The lead actors play subtle yet give a brilliant performance. The only con I see is that the climax is not so convincing. An interesting watch over weekend. Streaming on Amazon

With not much movies on Wildlife Conservation, Vidya Balan starring SHERNI - THE TIGRESS is a well written & narrated thriller with no noise. Balan gives an excellent performance. Politics plays a key role in our country which is sliced all over the movie in the best possible way. Strictly for those who love realistic cinema 👏👍❣️

KAAVALTHURAI UNGAL NANBAN is a hard hitting film which keeps you engaging from opening till end. Director RDM proves that content is king. It was like watching a Malayalam film where realistic screenplay & natural performance takes the front seat. The chemistry between less pair is worth mentioning.
