2 stars for the acting and special effects ( or else it would be zero), minus 3 stars for storyline. The aliens suddenly come from the sky, no explanation or follow up. A scene out of 911 follows. The movie then suddenly becomes a quest for an already dying hospice patient to go against the grain away from safety to find pizza in Harlem. Along the way a young man pops up from a flooded subway entrance and starts following her instead of going towards rescue boats in the water (The aliens drown if remaining underwater). She asks the man to stop following her and to go to safety the other way but unexplainably and for no reason stays with her. They make it to Harlem to find the pizza place was destroyed. Some reminiscing about her childhood and dad follow as they sit in a bar where her dad played piano. Instead of intensity and action we got sad and sorrow as the main part of the movie. Boring, slow moving and terrible storyline.
