Blue Wolf

[SPOILERS AND TRIGGER WARNINGS AHEAD] The movie wasn't too bad, given i skipped over a lot of it so I could get to the better parts of this movie. I loved the idea behind this movie but in my opinion it was poorly executed. The idea of a nearly indestructible, incredibly strong inbred monster lady that lives in a labyrinth under ground that "adopts" her victims her "Babies" is an awesome one to me. They really could have done better, the whole movie felt a bit random to me and so many things went unexplained. In one scene we find out that the monster lady is 40, and her dad was a man who kidnapped women and dragged them down to his labyrinth basement where he would (TRIGGERS HERE) rape them to make children with them and then he would repeat the proses with those kids until he eventually made this monster lady "accidentally". But where are the other women or at least their corpses, you don't see them anywhere during the movie but we do see the man trapped down there still alive but sick/dying. We also learn monster lady is 40, but then how was the dad still alive seeing as that much inbreeding would have had to take a lot of years, so that's juts unrealistic. Then there's a man who lived around the area for 15 years and he was never caught by the monster lady because she never goes to the place he lives, yet suddenly she does go there when the main character is trying to hide there. Those are only a few of the strange and unexplained things that happen, also something that was very annoying to me was how in the middle of a big scene with one of the victims and the monster lady the scene would just change to a normal suburban setting with no warning, it did this a few times and that pissed me off cuz the scene would reach peak suspense and suddenly you just come crashing down from that high to something super dumb and unnecessary that they could have just left out. That's pretty much the only thing that I really didn't like about this movie and yes those were the parts i mentioned earlier that I was skipping past cuz fuck that noise. I won't be recommending this movie mainly because I don't wanna vouch for it. It feels rushed, executed poorly and like a newbie wrote the script. It had a lot of potential and was almost reaching for it but ultimately left me not wanting more and very unsatisfied. But its just bad to me cuz I have watched better in the past and now if horror movies don't meat those standards then they aren't good to me. This probably would have rocked my world if it was my first horror movie that I had ever watched.

As someone who watched every season of As told by Ginger I can confidently say it was a good watch. This is definitely something I enjoyed as a kid and still enjoy to this day. The end of this whole series is satisfying and so sweet. Every episode had a message and ginger is just so relatable. There are a lot of conflicts between characters and so much character development for some of the characters. I definitely recommend this to show.

The fighting scenes are subpar, the acting is sub-par, the main characters in all powerful overlord who wants to rule the world and none of his opponents ever match up to his strength. He's a complete dog and treats his women like toys, he has no loyalty to a single woman and instead plays around with multiple women's feelings. He's arrogant and full of himself like every other overpowered main character cliché out there, of course every woman he encounters just has to fall deeply and madly in love with him, bleugh!. He's also a predator who raised a young orphaned girl "as his daughter" and groomed her into becoming his lover when she's finally grown into an adult.

It's one of the worst animes I've ever watched, there is no cohesive storyline, and the voice acting is terrible. It feels like a bunch of 11 year old kids made this with a week as their time limit. Every episode is rushed, every episode has a brand new bad guy that they suddenly beat with ease whilst pretending it was some big thing that had such a huge effect on everyone, and they kill off characters left and right. Season one was horrible enough i don't even want to watch the rest. Idk how so many people gave it a 5 star review... Don't waste your time on this, don't let the misleading reviews convince you otherwise.

I'm not gonna sit here and say it was the worst thing ever, cuz it did what it was supposed to do. It shows the truly ugly side of people and toxic love. However i do not feel I'm suddenly a better or smarter person for watching this horrid thing. It really fucked up my week. this show is so darn traumatizing and sad. None of the episodes are happy and none of the characters are happy in the end. The only one who gets a happy ending is the character who deserves to suffer, the other characters all got really hurt and don't get a happy ending. And sure the ending can be viewed as a "happy" ending cuz if you look at it in a different way they all gained experience from the pain and decided to move away from the toxic bonds they made to avoid their pain and cling to each other regardless of weather the other person gets hurt in the process. But its not enough for me, this anime left me crying in a bad way, I hate how it made me feel and i hate how it still makes me feel. I get its just a fake story and has no real effect one me but it still some how reached the worst parts of me and took me back to a time where I was a deeply sad and insecure teenager, it made me experience all those bad and lonely feelings all over again. This taught me nothing in the grand scheme of things, it just made me relive my high school traumas that i tried burying away. So if you have trauma regarding your love life and getting used and exploited as a teen, don't watch this. I don't even know why I had to watch this... I started it thinking it would turn out good in the end to show ppl that it does get better but no, the only person that got a happy ending was the least deserving person and it pissed me off so bad that I yelled at my computer screen (useless though it was). I do not recommend this anime to anyone, it's painful and sad and not in a good way.

Starting off with the good: 1. The animation is good in my opinion as well as the art style 2. The bare bones story line is pretty good, its abt a depressed 30+ year old man that gets hit by a truck and reincarnated in a different world where he gets a second chance at life. He takes this chance and makes the best of it. 3. The emotional parts of the story did bring me to tears many times (mainly cuz if someone cries, I cry) Now moving on to the bad... (WARNING: Mentions of Cheating, SA, CP, Pedophilia, and inter family relations) 1. I absolutely hate how this whole thing is just a straight up child pornography for most of the episodes. These is even a scene in the first season where they show the full body image of a naked toddler... 2. The toddler in question is the reincarnated 30+ year old man, who keeps all his memories and knowledge meaning he's not got the mind of a child. He's seen lusting over his own mother in the beginning and the maid that works for them. 3. The main character is a complete pedophile, he lusts after a young girl who teaches him magic and even goes as far as stealing her undergarments. He peeps on her any chance he gets. He also lusts after a young 5 year old girl who he grooms into marrying him in the future him. 4. The main character gets sent away from his home to tutor his older cousin (who is a girl) and ends up groping her multiple times and grooming her too, and ends up sleeping with her, his own cousin... Even the father and uncle of the main character encourage their "relationship". 5. There are multiple scenes in this anime where they shoe children having relations, and scenes where other people are either heard or seen having relations. 6. This anime promotes cheating and being unfaithful, it tells a story of how it's "ok" and "normal" to cheat and then just bring your affair partner into the relationship then glorifies it by showing that the families are happy and all apparently love each other... That is absolutely untrue and unacceptable, cheating is immoral and wrong and the excuse "I love you both" is bs in my opinion, cuz first of all if both the main character and his father really loved their spouses they wouldn't have cheated on them to begin with, much less bring their affair partners into their MARRIAGE AS SECOND WIVES! 7. A lot of women in this show are only portrayed as sexual objects, "shockingly" the men in this show aren't objectified like that at all. In summary this show could have been great, if only the creators weren't pieces of sub human trash. Pedophilia, child pornography, and infidelity shouldn't be forms of entertainment much less glorified and painted in a good light. This anime is a crime against humanity and the people who illustrated the art, did the animation, and wrote the story line should be behind bars.

The first season was great, I loved it all. However after the first season the series felt like it was dragging on too long. I hated season two, it felt like they were just throwing the most random stuff in the season because they didn't know what else to do but they just had to continue the series. The quality of the story just dropped so fast that i considered not even finishing the series after only reaching season 2 ep 3. I did complete the series though and in season three it kind of picks itself back up from the fiasco that was season 2 but it still wasn't where I wanted it to be. A lot of the problems the main characters faced with the cure and dispatching it all felt repetitive, like they couldn't find any other conflict to add to the story. I don't like how they kept bringing back supposedly dead characters, If you kill off a character then its over in my opinion, it feels almost tackey to use the "dead but secretly alive" trope more than once on more than one character. To be fair it is an old series and I cant expect too much of it, but I definitely wasn't expecting the series to start frustrating me as much as it did with all the repetitive tropes and conflicts, it felt like they started off strong then lost creativity but still wanted to milk the series for all it's got. There are a lot of things i didn't like about this show, but i don't want to be too negative in this review. On a better note it did capture my attention here and there, it had its good moments and bad. And like I already stated, I did like season one A LOT, if they had ended it there it would have been a big win in my book. Season three wasn't too bad either, it was better than season 2 but not by much. I definitely wont be watching this series ever again and don't see myself telling people about it or recommending it, but i would like to see a complete reboot of it in the future where they take the feedback from the public into account and fix their minor issues based off of them. Zoo is one of the series that had big potential, but they fumbled just a smidge.
