I saw this movie a little after it started streaming, years ago. I had just put my kids to bed, and saw I was able to watch it on one of my streaming services. I figured... "why not!"? So I watched it alone. I was absolutely blown away by the movie, so my kids and I sat down and watched it the next day. After that, that's what they wanted to see in the morning before my oldest went to school, as we ate breakfast. It was a little routine of ours for awhile. (I even have a video of my oldest dancing to the first number)
Tbh, that was 5-6 years ago now, and I hadn't watched it in a long time until tonight. I've been dealing with a lot of personal issues, so I wanted to watch something cheerful. I fell in love all over again. This movie brings me pure joy, which is hard to come by in today's world. And it encourages us to find that same joy in our own lives.
One of my Top 5 movies of all time.
