It’s like a holiwood movie from the 50s where a bunch of French people decide what Mexico City looks like and how Mexicans talk. Not one scene was filmed in Mexico And only one woman in the whole cast is Mexican. The songs are written by a French composer who doesn’t even speak Spanish. Selena Gomez has a terrible accent and grammar in Spanish. I’m an era when we are aware about cultural appropriation it’s an embarrassment that this movie got any awards from the academy.
