Made me proud to be content to walk the walk of Christ’s teachings but refrain from all toxicity and judgement of Christian evangelism. Armed with wit and sarcastic humor and oh-so-many solid biblical references Fugelsang makes the distinction between Christ-like and Christian. The ever present, but growing, chasm between Jesus teachings of love, compassion and deep concern for the poor and marginalized and increasingly selfish and just plain mean modern versions of the faith comes through loud and clear. I found myself fist bumping point after point as he made them. This book is special and a must read.
