This movie embraced every stereotypical uninspiring perception of a small town black girl. It went from disgraced pagent queen,striper,juke joint working, negative black father, unsupportive mother, lack of priorities woman...who would spend money on a pagent dress than keeping her lights on. This movie was one dimensional and predictable. It was depressing and I guess the only positive piece was the 10 minutes at the end.
