I just finished reading this book, one of the best books I've ever read. At first, I was slightly bored and confused about Reshmina's part in the book, but just by reading word for word, I understood her important role in the book. The huge connection between Brandon and Reshmina really shocked me. It is an incredible and emotional book that I will read over and over for sure. Gratz does an amazing job of telling the stories of two young characters during 9/11, showing both the fear of that day and the strength it takes to move forward. The way he mixes personal stories with real historical events makes the book both educational and powerful. The characters feel real, and the story is so gripping that you can’t put it down. This book is a must-read for anyone wanting to understand the impact of 9/11 on both a personal and historical level. Five stars for sure!
