Oh my goodness. This movie was disturbing but highly interesting. I'm watching this again to catch whatever nuance I missed. I need to find the cracks that made this very intelligent psycho finally break!! I've seen plenty of psychological thrillers but this one tops them all. It was so unpredictable and dangerous. Killer kept saying he was sorry. It was so sickening. And what a liar!

I experience melancholy each time I watch. I finally know why. My childhood was wonderful and the annual trips to the circus was a main event for our young family. 1962 is as far back as I can recollect. It was magical for me. This movie transports me back to a time of fun and innocence. The circus was 200 percent excitement!! Plus my parents were so young with three small kids, and we were so happy. Yes, this movie sends me back to the most happiest time of an unjaded innocence.
