One of the great movies. Small but incredibly talented cast. Has drama, humor, and occasionally sad commentary about our history and the ruthlessness of the army against what was, at the time, a generally civil population of Native Americans. I saw it when it first came out and just watched it again. Still very entertaining! I would think that there's enough historical fact built into the movie that maybe we should 'hate the white man' for what was depicted in this movie.
