I can’t explain how excited I was to see this movie. The amount of hype around it made it seem like it was going to be contender for horror movie of the year. However, I was disappointed. The only reason this has 2 stars instead of 1 is strictly because of the attention to detail in the movie. If you genuinely pay attention to the movie, it’s extremely predictable. There’s parts that just make you scratch your head and ask “why?”. I can’t lie, the first 20 minutes, I was ready to buckle in for the ride because I thought it was going to mentally mess me up. After the first 20 minutes, I was pretty upset. I honestly wouldn’t recommend seeing it.
