This could've really been a good movie. The story itself isn't too bad, but they REALLY drag it out. Between that and the constant flashback of their prior relationship, I wanted to pull my hair out. The flashbacks were so unnecessary. You know all you need to know about their relationship in the first five minutes of the movie. Naturally, people always have to be stupid in their actions in a horror movie or I guess it'd be over in 20 minutes, but there are way too many stupid things done in regard to the scenario that you can't help but get irritated. At the end, the kid becomes a brave genius all of a sudden when she was terrified, confused and crying the whole time up until that? Why didn't the monster kill the kid when it was right behind her as she's checking out the wolf in the woods? She wasn't in the light. Instead it lets her get back in the car and then goes for the tow truck guy under the car. Tears dude's arm off and throws it, but waits a bit before following his crawling prey to finish it off? If someone rewrites this, it could be good.
