While this movie did come out entirely too late from the first one, it still explained how Mike and Sully ended up where they were in the first movie. I’ve watched it multiple times but not as much as I have seen Monsters Inc. I like the animation and characters. Still better than Monsters at Work which is fair because they did not cast Mike and Sully as main characters. I enjoyed seeing this from Mike’s prospective rather than Sully’s. I would like to see an actual sequel to Monsters Inc or a movie about Boo. A lot of people think she ends up being Andy’s mom in toy story if that is true I wish whoever made these movies would answer that with another movie about Boo because that would be interesting.
