It was not well spaced out. In the first half nothing happened and in the last half everything happened. It was not bad as a film on its own but like the first one, as an adaptation they went way too off track from the books. Over half of the things in the film were not in the book which disturbed me a lot because it was my favorite trilogy. I would not recommend this movie if you expect it to be like the book. 👎👎👎

The movie by itself is not bad but as an adaptation to the book that Jenny Han wrote it was missing MANY things that were important to the story to be able to turn out the way it was supposed to. I understand that when they make an adaptation there has to be some changes, however, in this movie the changes that they made were most of the main ones that should not have been taken out.

I really enjoyed this movie it was very well written and the story had a lot of meaning in it. It was understandable that in the first movie Mal knew that she wanted to be good and she also wanted to make her own choices. In this second movie she wanted to just be herself and didn’t want to just fit in with the expectations of who she was. Even though Mal thought that Ben just loved her because she was more perfect that he expected at the end Mal realizes that Ben has always know who she really is. In this movie Mal discovers who she really is and that she wants to be who she really is and that she does not have to keep up any act and just has to be herself. Even though the movie was well written there was a bit of confusion for me in the part where Mal gives a fake replica of fairy godmother’s wand to Uma. If the wand had been real would it have still worked? The king and queen of Auradon has decided after their wedding to send all the villains to the isle of the lost and it had a magical barrier that did not allow anyone inside to use any magic at all. If ima had attempted to use the wand to destroy the barrier and let all the villains out would it have worked since it they were on the inside? In the isle of the lost it is known that no evil magic works there even if the evil spell was cast outside of the isle of the lost it will not stay once inside the isle of the lost. When Dude goes into the isle of the lost he can still talk, but he is capable of talking because of a truth gummy Mal made for Carlos while still at Auradon. Since there is no possible way of magic working at the isle of the lost how was Dude capable of talking while being at the isle? In the film Descendants 3 while Uma find Harry and Gil outside of the barrier along with Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos Uma says “it’s way better out there than we thought so” which would mean that they had not been in the water while inside the isle of the lost therefore the barrier would not let them get in because they would most likely be able to escape by swimming under water. In the number It’s going down while the VK’s and Uma’s pirates are sword fighting some of them including Harry Hook fall into the water and then get back up to the ship. Even though this movie might have errors or maybe it might just need to be explained more it was still a highly rated movie.
