I note that many of the negative reviews seem to come from religious individuals. I found the series interesting; the decent acting, beautifully atmospheric scenery and diversity of experts interviewed (Christian, Jewish, Muslim) added depth to the narrative. This series, while not without flaws, serves a purpose in making the Bible more accessible to those without religious backgrounds. It provides a lens through which even secular viewers like myself can appreciate the rich cultural and historical significance of biblical narratives. Worth streaming.
