Del Toro's masterpiece. A brilliant and rather faithful adaption to Shelly's novel. This is more than a horror film. Its more about the human condition and how we as humans create monsters both physically, and metaphorically. Del Toro wonderfully captures the sympathy of the creature who tries to understand why he's been created. You'll think about WHAT WE ARE more than WHO WE ARE after watching this.
