What I loved most about Normal People is how beautifully it shows the impact of our early experiences on our adult lives. When we grow up without enough love, warmth, or a sense of belonging from our families, it can shape how we handle relationships later — making us more vulnerable to rejection, secrecy, and confusion. Sometimes it even leads us to hurt ourselves emotionally.
But the series also gives hope: it shows that even after real pain and repeated wounds, someone can come into your life who finally shows you what it truly feels like to be loved, to belong, and to stop feeling lost or unworthy. It’s a raw, honest, and deeply moving story that stayed with me long after I finished watching.
