I played part 1 for over 1500 hours. The fun was: "Do it long enough and you'll be rewarded." The perks bring welcome relief over time and make you happy to work towards them.
Not so in the second part. Collecting herbs becomes torture and brewing potions becomes completely uninteresting. In part 1, after six to 10 hours of work, you could unlock "automatic brewing" - what a reward for such pointless work. Brilliant and funny.
Part two, on the other hand, says: "Brew potions for hours and you'll end up with 6 potions instead of 3." What's the point of that? I'm not going to spend 6 hours on something so trivial - there has to be something in it if you spend hours and hours at the workbench.
Other changes, such as the pointless "herbs can expire," also ruin the fun of the game.
Also things like lockpicking or fistfighting is way too easy
What a pity.
